Religious, cultural, accuracy, and content-ownership notes specific to a site like this one.
On religious content
Mathura Club covers a living religious tradition, not a historical curiosity. We aim to describe beliefs, rituals, and sites respectfully and accurately, drawing on widely held tradition. Where accounts differ between texts or communities, we've generally presented the most commonly cited version rather than adjudicating between them — this is a travel guide, not a theological authority.
On the artwork
Illustrations on this site depicting Krishna use traditional, long-established iconography — the flute, the peacock feather, the tribhanga stance — that has been part of devotional art for centuries and belongs to no single artist. They are original illustrations created for this site, not reproductions of any specific painting, mural, or photograph. We have deliberately avoided copying existing copyrighted artwork or photography.
On real-world sites
Krishna Janmabhoomi, in particular, sits adjacent to a site of ongoing legal and political sensitivity. We describe it as a major pilgrimage destination and note this context factually; we don't take an editorial position on the underlying dispute, and readers should treat any account of contested history with appropriate care.
On accuracy and dates
Temple timings, entry rules, security procedures, transport fares, and prices anywhere on this site are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing, but all of these change — sometimes without notice. Festival dates in particular follow the lunar calendar and can shift by a day depending on the Panchang tradition followed; see our 2026 and 2027 event pages for specific sourcing notes. Always confirm anything time- or money-sensitive with an official or local source before you travel.
On our estimates and illustrative data
Where we present figures like the monthly comfort/crowd chart on our homepage, these are illustrative planning aids based on general seasonal patterns — not measured statistics from any official source. We label these clearly where they appear and would rather you treat them as a rough guide than as data.
On money and recommendations
Mathura Club does not run paid placements, sponsored listings, or affiliate booking links. Nothing on this site is included because a business paid for it — if that ever changes, we'll disclose it plainly rather than blend it in. Our Hotels and Restaurants pages deliberately avoid naming specific unverified businesses for this same reason; see those pages for why.
On third-party links and the Sanskrit Calendar Network
Mathura Club links to external sites, including sister sites in the Sanskrit Calendar Network (Sanskrit Calendar, Daily Calendar, Hindu Calendar, Hindi Calendar, and Kundali.One). These are independently operated properties; we don't control their content, and linking to them isn't an endorsement of everything on them. We're also not responsible for the content or practices of any other external site we link to, including official temple pages, transport providers, or booking platforms.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, medical, financial, or safety advice. Travel involves inherent risk — weather, health, security, and logistics all vary by circumstance. Use your own judgment alongside our guidance, and consult a relevant professional for anything that needs one.
Not a booking or ticketing service
We don't sell tickets, book accommodation, or process payments. Any booking you make with a third party via a link from this site is a transaction between you and that provider, governed by their terms, not ours.
On copying this site's content
The text, illustrations, and design system on Mathura Club represent original work. Copying our written descriptions, illustrations, or page designs for another site or publication without permission is a copyright violation, and we pursue takedowns where it happens. If you'd like to license or quote something, email hello@mathura.club — we're generally happy to say yes to reasonable requests.
Errors and corrections
If you spot something outdated or wrong on this site, we want to know — it's how we keep this useful. Email hello@mathura.club or use our Contact page, and we'll look into it.
Changes to this disclaimer
We may update this page as the site grows or our practices change. We won't change what we actually do silently — if something material shifts (like adding paid placements), we'll say so here and mean it.
